Thought for the Week – Easter Symbols

The Empty Tomb that Wasn't Empty | Disciples | Torah Portions

As we look on the empty tomb, we appreciate how in this springtime flowers and days open up with new life and possibility. Our society is beginning to open up slowly from lockdown too. Give thanks for the new hope that this Easter has brought. If you haven’t already, why not visit our Easter Garden at Newtongrange Church when out for a walk on one of the lighter evenings.

What Is the Importance of the Empty Tomb?

When you’re out for your walk in this Easter season, why not visit our Easter Garden at Newtongrange Church. As you can see, there is some space for a few more plants in our cross flower bed. If you are a gardener or would like to plant something please feel free to do so in the space or contact the church office to donate plants for someone else to plant!
